Frank I. Garretson, 88, of the Monroeville section of Upper Pittsgrove Twp passed away on Tuesday in the SJH Elmer Div. Mr. Garretson was born in Corbin City, raised in Mays Landing and had lived in Richland prior to settling in Monroeville in 1953. He was the son of the late Reuban & Caroline Ree Garretson and the husband of the late Nellie Pierson Garretson who died in 2003.
Before retiring with over 50 yrs of service, Frank was employed as a Union Electrician with the I.B.E.W.U. Local #592. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran serving during W.W. II. He was a member of the American Legion Post #1000, Trenton & the V.F.W. Post #1801 Clayton, NJ. Frank enjoyed traveling and working in his yard.
He is survived by 1 sister: Edith Navone

A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 10 AM on Saturday at the Head of the River Cemetery, Estelle Manor, NJ.
